Human Rights
As the party of American values, Democrats celebrate diversity as a strength for the nation and advocate for the civil rights and protections for all individuals, religions, cultures, and languages regardless of gender, age, or orientation. As a nurse, teacher, missionary, and parent, I value the rights of all without prejudicial judgement or treatment.

Politics can be so divisive. Why must one be either Pro-life or Pro-choice? Is it not possible to be Pro-life choice? I agree with the bipartisan belief of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney and Tulsi Gabbard that “Abortion should be safe, legal and RARE” and that men and women should be making responsible decisions with regard to reproduction.
Abortion is a woman’s right, a decision that should be made with guidance from protected health care professionals especially in cases of rape, incest, and other mental and physical limitations. Women should feel safe about their decisions while understanding that abortion should not be a repetitive form of birth control. Most certainly, men should be held equally accountable for the consequences of coitus and conception and not be allowed to flee fatherhood and abscond child support.
