Healthcare
With rising healthcare costs and the expiration of enhanced premium tax credits and subsidies, tens of thousands are expected to lose their health insurance. From the creation of Medicaid and Medicare in 1965 to the emergence of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) in 2010, Democrats have historically cared more and had more influence on healthcare than Republicans. Even now there is bipartisan belief that Democrats are best for healthcare. As a nurse of 40 years, I will continue to care more.

- Restore, improve and pay tax credits for Affordable Care Act while working toward universal health care
- Expand Medicare and make prescription medications available and affordable to all
- Cap insulin and other life-saving drugs
- Finance rural hospitals and ensure health access to rural communities
- Promote and competitively pay healthcare professionals and allied professionals providing benefits and health insurance
- Stop the fascist, criminal, and immoral efforts of Donald J. Trump and MAGA; representatives only have two years to implement their solutions
