Wayne Stands for

As the party of American values, Democrats celebrate diversity as a strength for the nation and advocate for the civil rights and protections for all individuals, religions, cultures, and languages regardless of gender, age, or orientation. As a nurse, teacher, missionary, and parent, I value the rights of all without prejudicial judgement or treatment.

A photo of Hillary Clinton with attached quote: "I believe abortion should be safe, legal, and rare. I do think women should have a choice but also that women should be making responsible decisions."
A photo of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with attached quote: "Women's rights are an essential part of the overall human rights agenda, trained on the equal dignity and ability to live in freedom all people should enjoy."

Politics can be so divisive. Why must one be either Pro-life or Pro-choice? Is it not possible to be Pro-life choice? I agree with the bipartisan belief of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney and Tulsi Gabbard that “Abortion should be safe, legal and RARE” and that men and women should be making responsible decisions with regard to reproduction.

Abortion is a woman’s right, a decision that should be made with guidance from protected health care professionals especially in cases of rape, incest, and other mental and physical limitations. Women should feel safe about their decisions while understanding that abortion should not be a repetitive form of birth control. Most certainly, men should be held equally accountable for the consequences of coitus and conception and not be allowed to flee fatherhood and abscond child support.

Trump CHAOS

This section is so long because Trump has violated the rights of almost every American and demographic group. Multiple courts and judges have ruled that Trump violates the Constitution regularly. Trump claims he wants to be a great peacemaker and unifier and then demeans and insults women, people of color, veterans, homeless, felons, his own party members, and anyone who does not agree with him.

As a veteran myself, it is disheartening to see our Commander-in-Chief insult and violate the rights of military veterans. Being a draft dodger should immediately disqualify a person from officiating over all the Armed Forces. Trump and Hegseth made a mockery of top military brass and should be the last people to criticize and censure the courage and bravery of war heroes like Mark Kelly and John McCain.

In characteristic form Trump derided McCain, “He’s not a war hero. I like people that weren’t captured. He is a loser.” Trump continued, “No one wants to see wounded soldiers. That doesn’t look good on me.”

About the unhoused Trump snapped, “The federal government will be removing homeless encampments from all over our parks in order to rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam and squalor and worse. They will not be allowed to turn our capital into a wasteland for the world to see. They belong in jail or in a mental institution.”

Of course, Trump’s slanders on women are infamous. After asking Trump about the Epstein files, Trump put his finger in the face of journalist, Catherine Lucey, and squealed, “Quiet. Quiet Piggy.” Most recently, he described a female New York Times journalist as “ugly, both inside and out.” These followed many other disparaging gems: Nasty, horseface, crazed, fat, crying lowlife, dog, vindictive, low IQ, and a disgrace.

Under pressure from Trump, the Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade. He claimed the reason was to return power and legislation back to the states. Months later, he dismissed and oppressed state rights and sent armies into Democratic blue states without mayoral or gubernatorial request. Ever the hypocrite, whatever Trump wants or believes is now supreme.

Of course there is no morality in Trump’s policies or decisions. Everything he does is to placate his disciples or usurp control. He will say and do ANYTHING to enforce his will including lie with ignorant and outrageous propaganda.

Such is the case with abortion. Trump once mumbled,“They will take the life of a child in the eighth month, the ninth month and even after birth.” This statement demonstrates his dishonesty and ignorance – “even after birth”? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 80% of abortions occur at or before nine weeks of pregnancy, and just 6% occur between 14 and 20 weeks of pregnancy, which is  which is during the second trimester. Abortion does not involve ending the life of a born baby.

Perhaps we should give Trump some grace when it comes to math. Trump hysterically calculated that, “I’m going to be reducing drug prices that nobody has ever seen. Not by 20%, 30% – by like 1,500%, 1,400%, 1,000%. In some ‘favored nations,’ I’m going to be reducing drug prices by 1,000% – by 900%, 600%, 500%, 1,200.%” Ignorantly impossible.

Felons often face significant restrictions on their rights including voting, gun ownership, and employment opportunities, which vary widely by state. A felony conviction can limit job prospects particularly in fields that require licenses or security clearances.

This is personal to me because decades ago I was convicted of passing a bad check to cover the wages of teachers and community contracts by an employer who reneged on payroll  and unlawful acquistion of a credit card to help pay for my son’s schooling. I immediately paid back the $9,000 and made total restitution. I paid the severe price of eliminating options for employment and income and repeatedly recounting my mistakes.

Donald Trump is an unrepentant and repeat felon. He has access to confidential top secrets of national security. While avoiding consequences for his crimes, others serve years in prison for far lesser convictions. 138,000 to 354,200 individuals are currently incarcerated who were wrongfully convicted and imprisoned. Trump spits in their faces as he profits from the presidency.
